Dr. Carolin Rosskothen is an associate in the Corporate Department in the Hamburg office of Latham & Watkins. She focuses on mergers and acquisitions, distressed M&A and corporate law.

Prior to joining Latham, Ms. Rosskothen completed her practical legal training at the Hamburg Higher Regional Court, in the Corporate Department of Latham’s Paris and Hamburg offices, the Chamber for Commercial Affairs of the Hamburg District Court and the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Hamburg. She also studied International Business Management at Northwood University in Midland, Michigan, United States for one year and worked as a research assistant as well as assistant lecturer at the Institute for International Business Law of the University of Münster, where she also earned a doctor’s degree for her thesis on the liability of the managing director of a German GmbH in the conflict between his restructuring duty and his duty to file for insolvency.
