  • Tilly’s, Inc. in its IPO on the NYSE. The Tilly’s IPO was one of the first retail IPOs of 2012 as well as one of the first IPOs that went effective following adoption of the JOBS Act. Daily Journal listed the Tilly’s IPO as one of the “Top 10 California IPOs of 2012”
  • INTERMIX, a multi-brand specialty retailer of luxury and contemporary women’s apparel and accessories on its acquisition by Gap Inc.
  • Reebok International, Ltd., a global footwear and sports apparel company, in connection with a global product recall
  • Costco Wholesale Corporation, a wholesale club operator, and Safeway, Inc., a food and drug retailer, in intellectual property disputes. A Latham lawyer acted as liaison counsel on behalf of 270 defendants by the US District Court for the Central District of California in the largest multidistrict litigation patent case in history in which summary judgment of invalidity was obtained on 46 asserted claims
  • Nintendo Co., Ltd., a Japanese video game company, and its partners in the reorganization of international intellectual property rights relating to Pokémon, the global videogame, animé and toy phenomenon
  • Sony Online Entertainment, an online gaming company that offers Playstation 3 games, on the consumer privacy and marketing rules associated with its international launch of multi-player online games directed at children
